Suspect arrested in theft of $2,000 guitar from Fountain Valley store
A 27-year-old man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of stealing a guitar worth more than $2,000 from a Fountain Valley Guitar Center store last month, police said.
On Aug. 19, a man made off with a Martin acoustic guitar from the Guitar Center at 18361 Euclid St., police said.
On Tuesday, detectives arranged a meeting to buy the guitar in an undercover sting operation. An undercover detective confirmed the guitar was the one stolen from the store.
Paul Nicholas of Fullerton was arrested on suspicion of grand theft, according to police.
He was booked into Orange County Jail and released on bond Wednesday, according to jail records.
