Corgi Beach Day’s a doggone good time in Huntington Beach

A litany of little legs pawed the sand at Huntington Dog Beach on Saturday during Corgi Beach Day.

The event, presented twice a year in Huntington Beach by So Cal Corgi Nation, featured a tiki-themed costume contest, a limbo competition, a coconut cream pie-eating contest and various corgi-centric activities.

Vendors offered wares geared toward owners and fans of the stumpy but spirited Welsh herding dogs, while an array of food trucks and beverages were available for two-legged guests.
