Sheriff’s helicopter helps rescue woman who fell 15 feet from rocks in Laguna Beach

A Sheriff’s Department helicopter landed on Lighthouse Cove Beach in Laguna Beach to help rescue a 24-year-old woman Saturday after she fell about 15 feet from the rocks near the beach lighthouse, authorities said.
The Laguna Beach Fire Department requested help from Orange County Sheriff’s Department helicopter Duke 6 at about 2:45 p.m., the Sheriff’s Department said.
Paramedics treated the woman for her injuries before Duke 6 flew her to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, the Sheriff’s Department said.
The woman’s condition was unavailable.
