Fountain Valley’s Summerfest continues to amuse through Sunday

Summer is known for long days, sunshine, balmy nights and, in Fountain Valley, Summerfest.

The city’s annual carnival, which kicked off Thursday night, runs through Sunday at the Fountain Valley Sports Park at 16400 Brookhurst St.

It offers rides, live music, food booths and vendors.

Hours this weekend are 2 to 11 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 10 p.m. Sunday. Parking and ride prices vary.
