Local restaurants shine at Taste of Huntington Beach

Foodies flocked to the 19th annual Taste of Huntington Beach on Sunday to sample offerings from 46 local restaurants and catering companies.

The event at the Huntington Beach Sports Complex also featured wineries, breweries and live music to raise money for Friends of the Children’s Library, a volunteer group that supports the children’s department of the Huntington Beach Public Library.

Since 2001, the Taste has raised more than $550,000 for the department, according to the event’s website.
