Caroline Marie Severson

Caroline Marie Severson of Newport Beach passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on September 26, 2011. She was 85 years old and had a vibrant spirit and love of life.
Caroline was raised in Covina, California, where she met her husband of 65 years, Bob Severson. Caroline and Bob were high school sweethearts and had been together for almost 70 years.
Caroline loved playing bridge and watching sports, but her greatest love was her family.
Caroline is survived by her husband, Bob; daughters, Nancy Hansen and Jayne Olson; grandchildren, Jenny Dean, Ragan Erickson, Emily Olson and Jeff Olson; and great-grandchildren, Ella Erickson and Brooke Erickson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Caroline’s memory to the United States Olympic Teams.
