HIGH SCHOOL REGISTRATION BEGINS NEXT WEEK

Costa Mesa High School invites all incoming students to register starting

next week. Incoming sophomores go first on Aug. 17; incoming freshman

follow on Aug. 18; incoming eighth-graders are on Aug. 19 and incoming

seventh-graders are on Aug. 20. For more information, call the school at

OCC’S FALL DISCOVERY BOOKLET AVAILABLE

“Discovery,” a 44-page booklet that lists all workshops, performances,

travel programs, and noncredit classes being offered this fall by the

college’s community education office, is available.

The booklet is available free in the Community Education Office, or can

be mailed upon request by calling (714) 432-5880.

The fall schedule includes an array of performing arts events, including

music, dance and theater. A number of daylong personal enrichment

seminars are being offered, as well as business and career-related

workshops. Many online and computer classes are also available.
