AON HIRES COSTA MESA CONSULTANT

Aon has hired John McWilliams for its human resources consulting

organization, Aon Consulting Worldwide, as a consultant in its Employee

Benefits Division in Costa Mesa.

McWilliams spent five years consulting with a focus on benefit analysis,

financial plan review and plan design and implementation. McWilliams is a

member of the Orange County Employee Benefits Council.

“We are very pleased that John has joined our existing talented team of

consultants,” said Bruce Caldwell, senior vice president and office

manager of Costa Mesa. “His experience and expertise will enable us to

provide fully-integrated benefits consulting.”

Aon Consulting is a full-service consulting firm providing human

resource, compensation, employee benefits and change management services

from more than 100 offices worldwide.

SBN.COM GETS AFFILIATES

SBN.COM, the largest online Yellow Pages, has licensed 30 Web design

firms to act as authorized representatives in the sale of display

advertising to their clients. Each ad will be linked to the client firms’

own Web pages.

“The Web design firms thus have a strong vested interest in supporting

client requirements to establish Internet presence as quickly as

possible, and in devising mechanisms to drive traffic to those newly

created sites,” said Lee Bridges, vice president of Strategic Alliances.

SBN.COM’s online Yellow Pages are a 1.5-million page directory including

or linked to more than 50 million business listings nationwide. It is

also found on the Web sites of more than 500 Internet service providers,

search engines and other SBN affiliates.

SCM ROTARY CLUB ELECTS NEW PRESIDENT

Clayton Shurley was recently elected as the new club president of South

Coast Metro Rotary Club. Shurley is the proprietor of the Riverboat

Restaurant in Newport Beach and an active member of the club.

“I look forward to a new year of Rotary service to the community,”

Shurley said.

Shurley has already planned the agenda for the upcoming year, which

includes working with local school districts, the Orangewood Children’s

Home and as well as fostering the charitable goals of Rotary

International.

The SCMRC meets on Wednesdays at 7:15 a.m. at the Center Club in the
