Want to be a Daily Pilot Weather Watcher?

We’re looking for a few local residents who’d like to become Daily Pilot

weather reporters. The only qualifications are that you have a backyard

thermometer and enjoy taking note of the day’s weather conditions.

To enter our Weather Watcher Contest, just write up a one-paragraph

weather report, with the date, temperature, and your comments on the

day’s weather. Send it to Daily Pilot Weather Watcher Contest, 330 W. Bay

St., Costa Mesa, 92627, or send e-mail to dailypilot@earthlink.net.

Be sure to include your name, hometown and phone number. We must receive

entries by Saturday, Aug. 28. The winners -- who will be announced Sept.

4 -- will have their reports published in the Daily Pilot on a rotating

basis.
