Why is swing music so popular? Rock Harbor Church and Triangle Square

don’t have any answers to this question, but they can give you an

opportunity to strut your stuff. “Swing the Square,” a combination dance

class/concert event will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Swing lessons will be given

from 6 to 7, and a concert featuring Screamin Rays will follow. The event

The Orange County Museum of Art is offering a free family arts day from

noon to 4 p.m. Art activities, storytelling, tours of the gallery and two

performances of “Courage Strings” by the Children’s Repertory Theater

MONDAY

Still recovering from the weekend? Maybe you’ll feel better after

marinating in Rich Fauno’s piano bar music. Fauno plays at 9 p.m. at

Villa Nova. The program features blues, jazz and an occasional request.

He may even do a version of “Take the A Train” if you ask nicely. Villa

TUESDAYTake a peek at the museum’s exhibit “Outside the Box: Photography

Portfolios From The Collection.” The exhibit highlights the remarkable

collection of photos from the permanent collection of the Orange County

Museum of Art, featuring works by more than 30 photographers. The Orange

WEDNESDAY

Go behind the scenes at the Orange County Performing Arts Center, which

is offering tours. Smell the greasepaint, feel the heat of the lights and

let your inner thespian take a stroll across the stage. The

1-hour-15-minute tour will provide a detailed look at Segerstrom Hall.

The tour, also available on Monday and Friday, starts at 10:30 a.m. The
