Youth summer hoops champions announced

NEWPORT BEACH - The winning teams from the Newport Beach Community

Services “Summer Hoops ‘99” were announced Tuesday.

Twenty-six teams comprised of boys and girls entering second through

seventh grades participated in the eight week, summer recreational

league.

The winners in each division were:

Girls “A” Division (6th-7th grade): Erika Hosseini, Simone Borghei,

Ashley Slatery, Maika Trobman, Monica Chalawat, D.J. Trobman, Ashley

Rhinesmith, Matty Christensen.

Boys “A” Division (6th-7th grade): Devin Murtaugh, Taylor Wessling,

Roy Martinez, Neal Rafferty, Arman Beirami and Case Flynn.

Coed “B” Division (4th-5th grade): Brad McCoy, Kelsey Chase, Aaron

Northcraft, Scotty Smith, Max Adelson, and Nico McCoy.

Coed “C” Division (2nd-3rd grade): Parker Rhodes, Scott Thomsen, Erik

Mutzke, Daniel DiChiro, Weston Nielson, Mason Sayer,Evan Dean, Misha

Pakvasa, and Cameron Holmes.
