Crash Dummies roll

With goalkeepers Robert Fraga and Ryan Rapp sharing net duties that

resulted in 28 saves, the Crash Dummies were able to post a 6-2 victory

over the Puck Buzzards in a Peewee Club Division weekend match at Coast 2

Coast Inline Hockey Center in Huntington Beach.

Brad Malone paced the scoring attack with three goals and an

assist as the Crash Dummies remained unbeaten (2-0-1) in their past three

games and improved to 4-3-1.

Both Nathan Palafox and Ryan Townsend scored single goals and both

Brian Ayala and Kyle Concannon recorded assists for the Puck Buzzards,

who dropped their third-straight match in falling to 0-5-3.

In other games:

Ruff Riders 7, Dirty Turtles 4

Kris Ehret, his team’s leading scorer, poured in four goals, Sean

Campregher scored twice times with an assist, Alex Vongkoth scored once,

and both Scott Willis and Derek Petersen each had an assist for the Ruff

Riders, who won their first match of the season in improving to 1-5-2.

Tim Kraus scored three goals, Jason Krispel scored once, and

Krispel, Michael Kirchner, and Jeff Barnett all had two assists to lead

the division-leading Dirty Turtles (6-2).

Assassins 6, Predators 4

Both Robbie Kleinberg and David Arambula each scored twice, single

goals went to both Tamir Hussein and Virgil De Los Reyes, two assists

were recorded by William Holzer, and single assists went to Arambula,

Hussein, and Jon Tanji for the well-balanced Assassins, who ran their

record to 2-5-1.

Justin Bohn’s two goals led the Predators (2-5-1), who also

received single scores from both Macsun Frederick and Bryan Harada, an

assist by Dustin Dodds, and 24 saves by goalie Hunter Kiernan.

Jedi Knights 12, Assassins 3

The division-leading Jedi Knights (7-1) bounced back from their

first loss of the season as both Sawyer Stephens and Scott MacNair each

scored three goals, Michael Henley scored twice with an assist, John

Trujillo scored once with a pair of assists, Kevin Fisher had a goal and

assist, Kevin Adams and Brian Fisher each scored once, and Salem Stephens

had an assist.

David Arambula scored twice, William Holzer scored once, and Derek

Eichert had an assist to lead the Assassins.
