GreenLight Communications hires PR account exec

A Newport Beach-based communications company has added to its staff a

former UC Irvine senior public relations officer.

Ken Hagihara of Rancho Santa Margarita will join the team at

GreenLight Communications as a public relations account executive.

Hagihara also serves as vice president of communications for the Orange

County Air Force Assn. and he is a member of the Air National Guard.

Hagihara is a graduate from Cal State Fullerton, and will enter UCI’s

graduate program this fall.

GreenLight is an integrated marketing agency that has clients in the

high-tech industry. The business is located in Fashion Island.

Aqcess Technologies hires firm for PR work

A Costa Mesa marketing company has added another client to its list

this month.

SingleSource Marketing will handle the public relations and media

buying services for Aqcess Technologies, a company that will launch a

personal computing tablet. The wireless hand-held computer, called the

Qbe, is equipped with a camera, Internet access and video conferencing

capabilities.

“We’re very excited to be chosen to bring the Qbe to the market,” said

Myra Manahan, president of SingleSource. “It’s an entirely new concept in

the world of personal computing and a great way to bring in the year

2000.”
