A look at some of the Seahawks who should make some noise during

the 1999 season, with a comment on each from Coach Harold Eggers:

CHRIS HILL, LB, 6-1, 230, Sr.: ‘A hard-hitting player, a

hard-working young man, and plays well downhill. We’re counting on him to

be our leader.’

DESHAI HOUSTON, QB/FS, 6-1, 175, Sr.: ‘He runs well and is

elusive, and also has a very strong arm.’

PHILLIP SMITH, CB/WR/SS, 6-2, 175, Jr.: ‘Another hard-working

young man and a hard hitter. A big, rangy kid.’

ERICK FALESSI, LB/RB, 5-10, 185, Jr.: ‘A quick runner on offense,

and can really hit on the defensive side of the ball.’

NICK KRUEGER, CORNER, 5-8, 170, Sr.: ‘He and his twin brother,

Justin, are two of our most consistent players. Always at the right place

at the right time.’

JUSTIN KRUEGER, SS/OLB, 5-8, 170, Sr.: ‘Like his brother, very

consistent. Hustles all the time.’

BRETT CREVA, REC/CORNER, 5-9, 160, Sr.: ‘A first-year player. He

catches well and has elusive speed, and really stepped it up during

two-a-days.’

PATRICK CAMPBELL, REC/QB, 5-10, 160, Soph.: ‘Has good hands and is

a good, all-around athlete.’

RAMON MURRILLO, OG/DT, 6-2, 325, Jr.: ‘A big, strong, aggressive

player who runs real well.’
