OCC place well at Mt. Sac Tourney

HEMET - Orange Community College made team history by having all

six golfers shoot in the 80s during the first day of the Mt. Sac Tourney

in Hemet. Three golfers also placed in the top ten. Jan Cheng led all OCC

golfers with an 84 in the opening round, good for fifth place. Robin

Shaft finished right behind her by shooting 85.

And Jennifer Tunzi shot an 86, good for eighth place. Jenna Quaranta

finished 12th, while Kathy Hille and Gloria Pernesz were tied for 13th.

This is the first time OCC had all six golfers shoot in the 80s. The team

will not participate in the second round because of academic conflicts.
