OBITUARY

Miss Earle Martin of Newport Beach died Sept. 3.

Born Oct. 16, 1924 in Louisville, Ky., Mrs. Martin’s early home and

school years were spent in Mt. Sterling, Ky. She graduated from Centre

College, Danville, Ky. in 1946 and was married to Dr. Donald B. Martin

that year.

The Martins moved to Newport Beach in 1955. Mrs. Martin was active in

various women’s organizations, enjoyed golf (and had a hole in one),

bridge, Southern cooking and doting on her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Peter and Bruce; and four

grandchildren.

She was a member of the Neptune Society. A private burial is planned.
