Traffic accident leaves one woman injured

Newport Beach Police officer Mike Lektorich takes notes as part of

an investigation into a two-car accident on West Coast Highway near Dover

Drive Wednesday afternoon. Michelle Hubert, 41, of Costa Mesa was treated

for a broken femur at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana after her 1975

Mercedes-Benz collided with a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe that was attempting to

make a left-hand turn out of a McDonald’s parking lot, according to

police. The driver of the Tahoe, Susan Williamson, 35, of Newport Beach,

was not hurt, nor were the three young children in her car. Everyone

involved wore seat belts, police said. Hubert was listed in good

condition Wednesday.
