COSTA MESA
* Baker Street: A wallet and its contents worth $115 were stolen from
a business in the 1100 block between 12:30 and 1 p.m. Sept. 10.
* Harbor Boulevard: A purse and its contents worth $120 were stolen
from a car in the 2200 block at 7 p.m. Sept. 2.
* Kalmus Avenue: A laptop computer worth $2,879 was stolen from an
office between June 24 and Aug. 26.
* West 17th Street: An antique chair and Chinese artifacts worth
$3,500 were stolen from a storage unit in the 900 block between May 4 and
Sept. 2; a handgun, guitar, video tapes and compact discs worth $6,950
were stolen from another storage unit in the same block between Aug. 28
and Sept. 2.
NEWPORT BEACH
* East Coast Highway: A cellular phone worth $200 was stolen from a
restaurant in the 1100 block between 7 and 9 p.m. Aug. 29.
* Newport Center Drive: A cellular phone worth $350 was stolen from a
car in the 600 block Sunday night.
* 45th Street: A car stereo worth $200 was stolen in the 100 block
between Aug. 15 and Sept. 4.
