OCC knocks off Southwestern 14-8
CHULA VISTA - Orange Coast College’s men’s water polo team spoiled
Southwestern’s first attempt at a win 14-8, in nonconference play
Wednesday.
Southwestern, which fielded a water polo team for the first time this
year, got off to a surprisingly fast start by taking a 4-1 lead after one period. But the Pirates’ attack started rolling and they responded with
13 goals.
Meanwhile, OCC’s defense managed to slow down the opposition. Eric Kim
led the way with four goals and Scott Butler had three.
OCC improves to 4-1.
