Black Jaguars post 19-6 win over Corona

Quarterback Nick McIsaac had a hand in three touchdowns and the

Fountain Valley defense limited Corona to a single touchdown as the Black

Jaguars scored a 19-6 victory over the Panthers in a Jr. All-American

Football Clinic Division contest at Corona High.

McIsaac connected on a pair of touchdown passes to Shane Murray,

covering 50 and 45 yards, respectively, and McIsaac also ran for another

score as Fountain Valley wiped out a 6-0 deficit.

Cornerback Jose Navarro recorded five solo tackles, both McIsaac

and Murray each recovered a fumble, ends Joe Layton and Jacob Gale shut

down the Panthers’ outside rushing game, and the play of Daniel Pkorski,

Nathan Feiler, and Steven Bennett also contributed to the victory.

The Black Jaguars (1-1) play Saturday at the South Orange County

Patriots.

The Jaguar defense forced two fumbles, one created by Jeffrey

Lewis and one recovered by Jeff Hernandez, and was led by Jeff Lewis,

Edgar Santana, Brandon Cooke, Daniel Rychlik, Shane Webber, Garrett

Gaska, and Garrett Leon. Quarterback Jimmy Leeman and David Munoz

connected on a 60-yard pass play for the Jaguars’ first score, and Ahmad

Abdelmuti scored on a 40-yard run behind the blocking of Leon, Adam

Kennaday, Doug Sorrell, Michael Silva, Jeff Black, Chris Lee, and Daniel

Rodriguez.

The Pee Wee Jaguars host the Mission Viejo Cowboys in their league

opener Saturday (11 a.m.) at Fountain Valley High.
