COSTA MESA

* Harbor Boulevard: A brief case and its contents worth $50 were

stolen in the 2200 block between 9:30 and 9:45 p.m. Sept. 11.

* Bristol Street: A backpack and its contents worth $200 were stolen

in the 3300 block between 3 and 4:10 p.m. Friday.

* Towne Street: A camera and miscellaneous papers -- including

receipts and manuscripts -- worth $401, were stolen in the 800 block

between 6 p.m. Sept. 16 and 10 a.m. Friday.

* Baker Street: Music equipment worth $3,440 was stolen in the 700

block between 1:45 and 1:50 a.m. Friday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Westminster Avenue: A jacket was stolen from a residence in the 400

block at 6 p.m. between Sept. 7 and 14.

* 32nd Street: A surfboard was stolen from a patio area in the 200

block between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Friday.

* Narcissus Avenue: A camera, lens and case worth $330 were stolen in

the 300 block between 12:29 and 8 p.m. Sept. 15.
