AYSO Division 6-7 Soccer updates

COSTA MESA - The Teenie Wahines of the AYSO Region 97,Division 6

girls team were led offensively with goals by Sayde Busby, Ashley

Svendsen, and Lindsay Anderson.

Assists were given out by Jordan Murrel, Hannah MacLeod and Jessica

Swift and also helping guide the offense was the play of Kimberly Ficenec

and Lauren Pfeiffer.

Blakely Ficenec controlled the midfield area, while Cassie D’Cruz and

Skylar Hanson played solid defense for the Teenie Wahines.

In other Division 6 action:

In the Crocodiles’ game against the Dolphins, the Croc’s offense was

led by Claire Silva and Katy Sue Escher, while Page Hilton, and Jennifer

Beard anchored the defense.

The Blue Icicles had strong offense by Hannah Sundberg and Kelly

Rorden against the Blue Angels.

Solid defense was turned in by Brianna Truxton, Clare Doolin,

Anastasia Moore, Dana Pitts and goalie Alexandra Spitzer, while crisp

passes were executed by Morgan McVey, Christie Ohlhaver and Natalie

Swift.

On the boys side:

The Boomslangs received solid play from Max Collins and Jackson

Carmack, while Justin Cerrato and Randall Hause were nearly unbeatable in

goal.

Midfield play was led by Sean Davis, Rory Kew and Kevin Wittenberg,

while strong defense was turned in by Dom Palmer and Andrew Brown.

In Division 7 action:

The Stingrays of AYSO Division 7 played a strong game Saturday against

the Shooting Stars.

Blayke Partida scored, with an assist going to James Jarvis.

Riley Lowe was solid on defense, while offensive attacks were led by

Daniel Acero, Max Johnson and Cole Macias.
