CdM falls in second round

NEWPORT BEACH - After a 9-5 victory over Buena Park High in the

first round, Corona del Mar’s boys water polo team lost to a tough

Valhalla squad 15-11.

Garrett Gentry led all Sea Kings in the first game with four goals.

Goalie Brad Netherton had nine saves for CdM.

Valhalla scored five times in the second quarter to take a 9-4 lead at

halftime. Gentry scored five to lead the Sea Kings.
