Women’s golf: OCC wins again

RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA - Orange Coast College’s Jennifer Tunzi led

all scorers with a 5-over-par, 77, to lead the Pirates to 12-shot win

over Saddleback and the rest of the Orange Empire Conference in

Wednesday’s match played at Tijeras Creek Golf Club, par 72.

Jenna Quaranta placed third overall with a 10-over 82 for the Pirates,

who now lead Saddleback by six points after four rounds of OEC play.

All six of OCC’s golfers finished in the top 15 overall.

The next conference match will take place Monday at Costa Mesa Country

Club with the first tee time set for 11:30 a.m.
