Men’s water polo: OCC wins late, 10-6

COSTA MESA - Luke Alvarado scored three goals as Orange Coast

College’s men’s water polo team used a strong second half to win, 10-6,

over visiting San Diego Mesa Wednesday.

With the Pirates winning, 3-2, at the half, OCC scored four straight

goals to take control of the match.

Scott Butler and Jeff Pratt added two goals apiece for the Pirates (7-3),

who open Orange Empire Conference action Wednesday when they host

Saddleback at 3 p.m.
