mother and brother flew in from Mexico to see me run. It was great to

have them watch me run and win.”

College Athlete of the Month for SeptemberI: Took first place in her

first three meets, the San Diego Invitational, the OEC Preview and the

Orange Coast Classic. Was OCC’s Female Athlete of the Year last year,

when she won the Southern California Championships in cross country and

looks to be one of the favorites this year for a state title.
