Men’s water polo: OCC opens conference play with win

COSTA MESA - Orange Coast College’s men’s water polo team used a

strong third quarter to pull out a 13-6 victory over visiting Saddleback

in both teams Orange Empire Conference opener.

After trailing 5-2 into the second quarter, OCC ripped off 11-straight

goals to secure the win.

Scott Butler had three goals, while Kevin Becker, Chaz Leeper and Matt

McKinney each added two goals for the Pirates (9-3, 1-0).
