COSTA MESA - Friday night’s Battle for the Bell football game

between cross-town and Pacific Coast League rivals Costa Mesa and

Estancia high schools will also feature a pregame fund-raiser barbecue to

benefit both schools.

The event, sponsored by Outback Steakhouse, will be held from 5:30-6:30

p.m. before the game, near the ticket booths at Orange Coast College.

The cost is $5 per person and dinner includes a burger with all the

trimmings, chips and a soda.

Tickets can be purchased at the event from either school.
