Rage Rolls on

A well-balanced offense - paced by the rushing of Ben Rivera and

Travis Israel - and a stingy defense helped The Rage up their record to

3-0 following a 38-0 victory over the 49ers in a Huntington Beach Youth

Football C League contest at Murdy Park.

Both Rivera and Israel each rushed for a pair of touchdowns, with

Rivera scoring on runs covering 40 and 50 yards, while Israel scored on

romps of 35 and 25 yards.

Rivera also caught a 25-yard touchdown pass from Mike Ransom.

The Rage’s defense also figured prominently by intercepting five

passes, three of which were returned for touchdowns.
