MILLENNIUM MOMENT

At the center of the constellation of the Newport social scene is Beverly

Ray, chairwoman of International Bay Clubs, Inc. and the founder of the

1221 Club.

Ray’s relationships with the organizations put her in such prominent

social company, since International Bay Clubs owns the Balboa Bay Club

and the Newport Beach Country Club, and the 1221 Club organizes some of

the Bay Club’s most prominent charitable efforts.

When she isn’t coordinating the activities of the Newport scene, Ray

indulges in her enthusiasm for gardening and antique furniture.
