renovation of the Balboa Theater will start from the corner of Washington

Street and Bay Avenue at 8 a.m. Saturday. Registration begins at 6:30

3 A CONTEMPORARY CHORUS: “20th Century Romantics,” the first show

of the William Hall Master Chorale’s new season, opens Sunday at St.

Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. The program, which starts at 4 p.m.,

features works by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Maurice Durufle. Tickets are
