Citrus edges OCC, 8-7

CYPRESS - Orange Coast College dropped an 8-7 decision to Citrus at

the Cypress College men’s water polo tournament Friday, squandering a 5-4

lead through three periods.

Citrus, No. 4 in the state, got a 4-2 spurt in the final quarter to slip

past No. 5 Coast.

Coast was a 9-3 winner over Cuesta in another pool play matchup

Friday.

Kevin Becker led OCC with seven goals in the two starts. Play

continues today.
