OCC wins pool at Cypress Tournament

CYPRESS - Orange Coast College’s mens water polo team went 2-2 at

the Cypress Invitational, good enough for first place in its division. On

Saturday, the Pirates defeated Rio Hondo, 9-5, to advance to the

championship bracket. There, they lost to Golden West, 7-5, despite an

outstanding defensive effort by OCC.
