Baseball: Xmas youth camp to be held

COSTA MESA - Costa Mesa High will be hosting two, one-day baseball

camps for youngsters ages 8-13 during the Christmas holidays.

Each camp is $60 and the dates are Monday, Dec. 27 and Thursday, Dec.

30. Both camps are from 9 a.m. to noon.

Mustangs Coach Kirk Bauermeister and his coaching staff will be

running the camps and they will emphasize hitting, pitching, baserunning,

bunting, position play, sliding and game strategies.

All youngsters are asked to bring a glove, cleated shoes, hat and

suitable baseball attire.

Anyone who registers before Nov. 15 will receive a $10 discount on the

registration price.
