CdM finishes off Mesa

COSTA MESA - The Corona del Mar High girls golf team had five

players shoot in the 40s Thursday to finish out its Paficic Coast League

season with a 128-178 win over host Costa Mesa on the Costa Mesa Golf &

Country Club’s Mesa Linda course.

Junior Taylor McCormick (41), Kristin McCoy (43), Mijanou Pham (44) and

Jackie McCoy (46) scored for the Sea Kings (12-5-1, 7-2-1 in league),

while Allison Schauppner (49) rounded out the sweep of the top five

spots.

CdM advances to the CIF team regionals Nov. 9 at Los Serranos in Chino

Hills.
