Orange Crush win two

COSTA MESA - The Orange Crush had a very successful week, defeating

the Nighthawks, 7-2, and the Blizzard, 5-0, in AYSO Region 120 Under-12

Division boys soccer action.

In the win over the Nighthawks, Brian Henriquez had five goals, with

single tallies added by Parker Roth and Jose Perez Jr.

Henriquez had two more goals in the win over the Blizzard, however the

leading scorer for the Orange Crush was Perez Jr. with three goals.

Andy Sussman led the defense for the Orange Crush, while goalies Mike

Wolfe and Kyle Thorsness made numerous saves.

In Under-10 boys action:

Red Bombers 2, Falcons 2 - Adam Seagondollar scored both goals for the

Red Bombers with an assist from Peter Schreyer.

On defense, Matthew Hillberg, Gregory Vinson, Renny Martinez, Luis

Labrado, Francisco Moreno, Dontay Lesser and Anthony Arellano led the

charge, while Nicholas Vinson and Martinez kept the game close.

In Under-8 boys action:

For the Fireballs in their game against the Patriots, Alex Stradwick led

the offense, while Austin Metzger, Ryan George and Leo Brown led the

defense ... Aaron Kring, Ben Nordstrom, Angel Beas, Andrew Roth and Matt

Viles all scored for the Rockets in their matchup with the Pythons.

In Under-8 girls action:

Brittany Grimmett and Amanda Watson each scored goals for the Pink

Panthers in their game against the Tidal Waves, while Michaela Watson,

Natalie Seckel, Jenna Hurty, Morgan Pautsch and Annie Past each had solid

all-around games.
