AYSO Region 57: Blue Bombers blow past Red Hurricanes

NEWPORT BEACH - Parker Rhodes had a goal and two assists to lead

the Blue Bombers to a 4-1 win over the Red Hurricanes in AYSO Region 57

Division 5 boys soccer action Saturday.

Nick Freeman, Peter Yould and Mitch Williams also scored for the Blue

Bombers.

Solid consistent play was turned in by Brandt Lange, Camden Higginson,

Bret Weinberger, Evan Lividas and David Schwartz.

In Division 4 girls action:

Cherry Bombs 5, Y2K Babes 1 - Lindsay Norman had three goals, while Katie

Kubas and Bailey Gardner each scored one goal for the Cherry Bombs.

Leading the Cherry Bombs’ defense were Blair Constantinou, Kate Murphy,

Paige Otterbein, Haley Prickett, Kristina Lee, Hilary Arnold and Kelsey

Johnson.

Millennium Babes 1, Bubble Trouble 1 - Sonia Bui scored off an assist

from Kara Percival for the Babes.

The Babes’ defense was led by Maggie Donnelly, Allison Bond, Rachel

Heyler and goalie K.T. Molinaro.

Bruisers 0, Bazooka Babes 0 - Leading the Bruisers’ defense were Kelly

Bartlett, Allyson Page, Paige Harryman, Amanda Billing and goalies

Michelle Allred and Casey McMackin.
