Hunt third at Sea View Finals

COTO DE CAZA - Newport Harbor High sophomore Kelly Hunt finished

third at the Sea View League girls golf finals Wednesday at Coto De Caza

Country Club, carding a 171 over the 36-hole event.

Medalist was Irvine junior Stella Lee with a 1-over 145, and Channing

Lovejoy of Woodbridge was second at 155.

The top two automatically qualify for the CIF Individual Finals at

Mission Lakes CC in Desert Hot Springs, although Hunt, Candy Lin of Aliso

Niguel (176) and Valerie Wong of Laguna Hills (177) are expected to

compete, as well, through petition.

Earning second-team all-league honors from Newport Harbor were Shelly

Roberts (seventh at 188) and Lindsay Galbraith (ninth at 191).

Emily McKay just missed at 200.
