DEAD SEA SCROLLS LECTURE

Temple Isaiah of Newport Beach hosts Michael B. Phelps, director of the

Ancient Biblical Manuscript Center in Claremont, who will give a talk

about the Dead Sea Scrolls at 8 p.m. Wednesday. A $5 donation is

requested for members, $10 for nonmembers. The temple is at 2401 Irvine

‘THE STIRRING’

Rock Harbor Church presents “Stirring,” a community worship event for all

MEN’S FELLOWSHIP BREAKFAST

St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church hosts a fellowship breakfast from 7 to 8

a.m. Wednesdays, open to all men of the church and community. Cost is

$2.50. Greg Spicer will speak on “Loving Your Wife God’s Way” at this

ADULT EDUCATION AT TEMPLE ISAIAH

Rabbi David Rosenber of Temple Isaiah conducts a series of special

classes on Judaism topics, including interfaith marriages, non-Jewish

holy days and spirituality in the family. Classes meet Thursdays through

Dec. 16. There is no charge for members and the complete series of
