KEY NEWCOMERS: Steve Henderson (6-5, F, Sr., transfer from Mater Dei);

Christian Prelle (6-3, F, Jr.).

COACH’S OUTLOOK: Kelly begins his fourth year with the Chargers

surrounded by a solid nucleus. “With four returners and the transfer of

Steve Henderson (a varsity starter as a sophomore at Mater Dei), we

should be able to bounce back solidly this year. We are still a very

young team with six underclassmen and our league, as always, is very

tough. But, this team plays extremely hard and plays excellent defense.

We should be very competitive. IF we can come together as a team and

sacrifice for one another, it should be an exciting year.”
