Fountain Valley
Slater Avenue: Tires of a vehicle were slashed in the 10400 block
sometime before 2:13 p.m. Sunday.
Santa Isadora Street: Someone entered a home through a bathroom window in
the 18900 block sometime Sunday. Jewelry, $500 cash, a video game player
and six video games were taken.
Bushard Street: There was an armed robbery at Little Caesar’s at Warner
Avenue at 7:45 p.m. Saturday. Cash was taken.
Magnolia Street: A hole was cut in the roof of the false store front on
top of Sav-On in the 17100 block of Magnolia early Saturday. Someone
entered the pharmacy, took prescription medication worth $500 and then
fled.
Bushard Street: A man kicked a 6-year-old child in the lower leg in a
pizzeria parking lot at the corner of Garfield Avenue, Saturday at 6:09
p.m.
Garfield Avenue: Items were stolen from the Ralphs grocery store in the
9000 block of Garfield Avenue.
Ellis Avenue: Rear tires were stolen off a vehicle in the parking lot of
a business in the 10700 block sometime early Saturday.
El Amarillo Avenue: A camera and a portable CD player were stolen from a
‘96 Nissan Altima at 9:33 a.m. Saturday in the 11000 block.
Bushard Street: Someone painted gang-related graffiti on a traffic
control box in the 17700 block, at 3:19 p.m. Friday.
San Pasqual Street: Stereo equipment and CDs were reported stolen from a
vehicle parked in the 18700 block at 5:02 p.m. Friday.
Swallow Avenue: Property worth $200 was taken from a vehicle in the 10200
block. A screwdriver was used to force the driver’s side window off its
track.
Muirwoods Court: Property valued at $810 was taken from a ’92 Jetta in
the 18200 block on Friday morning.
El Rey Avenue: A suspect wiped a substance, possibly vomit, along the
side of a car in the 9500 block at 1:06 a.m. Thursday.
Gladstone: A rear window of a ’98 Ford Explorer was smashed in the 11600
block early Thursday morning.
Mariposa Avenue: Someone shot a household cat with a BB gun in the 9600
block around 6 p.m. Tuesday, causing the cat’s left hind leg and hip to
be displaced.
Huntington Beach
Adams Avenue: A car was broken into in the parking lot of Mervyn’s in the
9800 block at 3:00 p.m. Friday. A handicapped-parking placard was taken.
Shady Glen Circle: A woman’s parrot, valued at $500, was stolen in the
7500 block.
Beach Boulevard: An angry customer made threats in person and over the
phone, referring to bombing a store in the 17300 block, Friday at 1 p.m.
California Street: Someone stole a woman’s pearl necklace, valued at
$1,000, from her residence in the 600 block Thursday night or Friday
morning.
Delaware Street: A 35 millimeter camera and two Blockbuster videos were
stolen from a vehicle in the 18300 block, sometime before 10:28 a.m.
Friday.
Shamrock Circle: Gang graffiti was reported spray-painted on a private
wall in the 8400 block, Friday at 9:56 a.m.
Florida Street: A female was taken in for medical treatment, for possible
alcohol poisoning in the 2200 block, at 2 a.m. Sunday.
Beach Boulevard: A man repeatedly walking up to the drive-through at Taco
Bell in the 19000 block at 2:43 a.m. Sunday was reported to be demanding
to be waited on. Taco Bell employees can’t take a walk-up order at the
drive-through window.
Goldenwest Street: A car was stolen from the 15400 block at 4:46 a.m.
Friday.
Riverbend Drive: Possible shots were heard in the 8900 block, at 11:40
p.m. Saturday.
Newland Street: A woman reported hearing someone on her roof in the 17300
block, at 1:25 a.m. Sunday.
Center Avenue: A vehicle was broken into in the parking lot at the Rhino
Room in the 7900 block at 1:30 a.m. Sunday. A cell phone, video, purse,
leather jacket and CDs were stolen.
Millbridge Circle: A car’s tires were popped in the 8400 block at 11 p.m.
Saturday.
Keelson Lane: The window was broken on a car in the 17300 block, Saturday
at 10:15 p.m. A purse was stolen.
Adams Avenue: A man wearing a baseball cap was reported to be selling
drugs near the corner of Alabama Street at 9:33 p.m. Saturday.
Bolsa Chica Street: An alleged drunken driver was reported weaving all
over the road, eventually stopping in the middle of the road at
Westminster Avenue at 6:58 p.m. Saturday.
Warner Avenue: A hit and run accident damaged a parked vehicle at the
Dairy Queen in the 5100 block at 8:47 p.m. Saturday.
Edinger Avenue: A man was asking for money for his broken car outside of
a Washington Mutual Bank at Parkside Lane at 5:49 p.m. Saturday.
Hart Circle: Someone took a power drill from the backyard of a home in
the 16500 block of Hart Circle, Saturday afternoon.
Adams Avenue: A washer in a laundry in the 10100 block caught fire at 5
p.m. Saturday.
Newland Street: A man was found in the bedroom of a home in the 17600
block of Newland Street, Saturday at 5:32. He had no pulse and was not
breathing.
Algonquin Street: A transient in his 50s was defecating in front of
shoppers in the center of the mall in the 16900 block, Saturday at 1:16
p.m.
Beach Boulevard: A female and male patient were threatening the emergency
doctor at Huntington Beach Hospital in the 17700 block. They were being
treated for anxiety.
Ojai Lane: A male on a 10-speed bicycle grabbed a woman’s breast while
she was out on a walk in the 17400 block at Saturday at 3 p.m.
Adams Avenue: The robbery alarm was accidentally set off by employees at
the Union Bank of California in the 8800 block at 11:17 a.m. Saturday.
Palm Avenue: A fire alarm was reported activated since 4 a.m., at 12:33
p.m. Saturday at the Dwyer Middle School in the 1500 block.
20th Street: Garbage collectors reportedly clipped the water line with a
Dumpster in the 200 block of 20th Street at 7:53 a.m. Saturday.
Warner Avenue: A stolen vehicle was recovered Saturday at 9:41 a.m. in
the 6700 block of Warner Avenue. It had been sitting in a parking lot
there for about three weeks.
Algonquin Street: A man was reportedly scaring customers in front of D &
N Donut Shop in the 16900 block, Saturday at 9:53 a.m.
Goldenwest Street: Two large rockets were set off, causing a large boom,
at 11:56 p.m. at the corner of Bolsa Avenue on Friday.
Seastar Drive: An orange Datsun pick-up, with surf racks on the top, was
reported stolen from the 7400 block at 2:01 a.m. Saturday.
Pacific Coast Highway: A transient broke into a restroom and refused to
come out, at the corner of Magnolia Street at 6:07 a.m. Saturday.
