Thrashers cool down Hot Shots

Kyle Thoms scored a game-high five goals and the Thrashers

continued their winning ways Wednesday with a 12-6 victory over the Hot

Shots in a Wales Division match played at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey

Center in Huntington Beach.

Thoms, who leads the team in scoring with 14 goals, also had a pair of

assists as the Thrashers won their fourth consecutive game to improved

their division-leading record to 6-1.

Adam Sebrasky contributed two goals and three assists, Jesse Montgomery

scored twice and had an assist, Traves Smith had two goals, Eric Broberg

scored one goal and added an assist, and Kyle Ohanian and Jorden Zarders

had assists for the winners.

The Hot Shots (2-5), coming off their second win of the season, received

two goals each from Drew Woods and Tommy Montgomery, a goal and assist

from Casey Landel, one goal from Eric Shiroishi, and assists from Harry

Graves, Derek Belisle, and Corey Cano.

Jackals 4, Renegades 2

The Jackals (5-1-2) won their fourth consecutive game and retained their

second-place standing behind a balanced scoring attack that featured

goals by Jonathan Radin, Ryan Ratelle, Vartan Tchekmedyian, and Ryan

Turchi, as well as assists by Radin and Ratelle.

Andy Cook and Casey Maines scored and Jonathan Blunda and Kyle Sabraw had

assists to lead the Renegades (3-3-2).

Mustangs 6, You Ain’t Hurt 2

John Barrows and Jeff Bisso scored three goals each, Dan Zike assisted

two goals, and Timothy Bonnett and Joe Baker had assists to lead the

Mustangs (3-1-4), who ran their unbeaten streak to four games; Derek

Huffman had a goal and assist, Chad Ramsey scored once, and Jesse Morrill

had an assist to pace You Ain’t Hurt (0-7-1).

Roller Dogs 5, You Ain’t Hurt 4

Tyler Marmion scored three goals with an assist, Nate Jahns scored once,

and Brian Kaminsky, Shane Lakes, and Steven Siglin had assists as the

Roller Dogs (3-4-1) ended a losing skid at three games; Chad Ramsey

scored two goals, Derek Huffman scored once with an assist, Brittany

Myers scored once, and Thomas Lawlor assisted one score to lead You Ain’t

Hurt.
