Lady Baron Hoop Challenge field set

The 1999 South Coast Acura Fountain Valley Lady Baron Hoop

Challenge gets underway Monday with eight teams vying for the tournament

title.

Two local schools, host Fountain Valley and Ocean View, are among the

teams competing in pool play.

The six-day tournament concludes Saturday, Dec. 11, with the fourth-,

third-, and second-place games preceding the 7:30 championship game

between the first-place finishers in pool play.

Both Fountain Valley and Ocean View will compete in Pool A and will be

joined by Irvine and Murrieta Valley.

Both the Lady Barons and the Lady Seahawks play opening games on Tuesday.

The Pool B field consists of Westminster, Century, Riverside Poly, and

Woodbridge.

5:45 p.m. - Westminster vs. Woodbridge

7:15 p.m. - Riverside Poly vs. Century

TUESDAY (Dec. 7)

5:45 P.M. Ocean View vs. Murrieta Valley

7:15 p.m. - Irvine vs. Fountain Valley

WEDNESDAY (Dec. 8)

6 p.m. - Century vs. Woodbridge

7:30 p.m. - Westminster vs. Riverside Poly

THURSDAY (Dec. 9)

6 p.m. - Fountain Valley vs. Ocean View

7:30 p.m. - Murrieta Valley vs. Irvine

FRIDAY (Dec. 10)

3 p.m. - Ocean View vs. Irvine

4:30 p.m. - Woodbridge vs. Riverside Poly

6 p.m. - Westminster vs. Century

7:30 p.m. - Fountain Valley vs. Murrieta Valley

SATURDAY (Dec. 11)

3 p.m. - Fourth-place game

4:30 p.m. - Third-place game
