Deloitte & Touche has included six Orange County companies on its list of

the country’s 500 fastest-growing technology firms.

Irvine-based Broadcom Corp. was the top county firm, ranking 49th on the

list. Its revenue has grown 5,480% during the last five years. Also on

the list were SRS Labs Inc., which ranked 63rd; iBaset, 141st; I/O Magic Corp., 210th; Linksys, 317th; and Vision Solutions Inc.

“This area’s legendary fast-paced companies are growing exponentially

faster,” said Fred Poska, a partner with Deloitte & Touche. “Our

challenge is to ensure that Orange County continues to provide the

resources and environment that makes this kind of growth possible.”

To qualify for the list, companies must have had revenues of at least

$50,000 in 1994 and be based in the United States.
