Men’s basketball: OCC lights up Victor Valley

COSTA MESA - David Castleton scored 23 points, including six

three-pointers, to lead Orange Coast College over Victor Valley, 95-78,

in the first round of the OCC Invitational Thursday.

Dave Elliott had 15 points and eight rebounds, while Scott Rivera and

Jeff Beeler added 12 points each for the Pirates (3-2).

OCC will take on Imperial Valley tonight at 6 in second round action.
