OCC women win tournament

SAN LUIS OBISPO -- Sophomore Sarah Middlebrooke had 22 points and

12 rebounds to lead the Orange Coast College women’s basketball team to a

come-from-behind 64-54 win over Bakersfield in the championship game of

the Cuesta Tournament Saturday.

Middlebrooke was tournament MVP, while teammate Erin Tomlinson was an

all-tournament performer after scoring 16 in the title game. OCC improved

to 9-1.
