Boys basketball: CdM wins third straight

WESTMINSTER - Brooks Morris had 16 points to lead Corona del Mar

High boys basketball to its third straight win of the season, 52-45, over

Buena Park in the first round of the La Quinta Tournament.

Alec Hanson added 14 points for the Sea Kings (3-0), who made 5 of 6

free throws late in the fourth quarter to seal the win.

Buena Park falls to 3-2 for the season.

The Sea Kings next take on Loara Thursday at 6 p.m. at La Quinta High,

in the second round.
