Five players from the Huntington Beach Dolphins Jr. Pee Wee

Division were awarded postseason accolades recently, and will represent

the league Sunday in the division’s Orange County Jr. All-American

Football All-Conference Game.

The game, which is scheduled for a 5 p.m. kickoff, is one of eight

division all-conference match-ups that will be played Sunday at Cal State

Fullerton.

Each game will pit the AFL all-stars against the best from the NFL.

Brian Shrock, Logan Martina, Willie Fiscus III, Antonio Small, and Daniel

Nelson will represent the Dolphins.

Shrock was named an Academic all-star for his efforts in both the

classroom and on the field. He recovered a team-high seven interceptions,

four of which he returned for touchdowns, in his first season with the

team.

Martina finished the season with 1,223 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns

(one by pass) to lead all Dolphin rushers.

Fiscus was a terror on defense, recording a team-high 93 tackles with

three sacks, four forced fumbles and six fumble recoveries, one of which

was returned for a touchdown.

‘It’s an honor for these kids to be playing in the all-conference game,’

Huntington Beach Dolphin Coach Dave Small said. ‘Each of these kids had a

successful season, and I haven’t had a kid play harder than Willie

Fiscus.

‘We teach the kids to prepare for opportunities, in both football and in

life. We had an outstanding team this year.’

Also playing in the Jr. Pee Wee Division All-Conference game will be

eight players from the Fountain Valley Jr. Pee Wee Division teams (Teal

Jaguars and Jaguars).

The Teal Jaguars will represented by offensive lineman Sean Tierney,

offensive back Vince DiDomenico, defensive lineman Michael Clark, and

defensive back Dean Persinger.

The four members of the Jaguar squad competing will be running back and

team-leading rusher Bryan Schutte, defensive lineman Michael Berber,

offensive lineman Coby Mason, and defensive back Travis McNaughton.

Players from each team are voted on by teammates to represent the squad

in the All-Conference game.

Admission to the contest is $5 per adult and $1 for youngsters over eight

years of age.
