OCC wins tenth game

COSTA MESA - Orange Coast College’s women’s basketball team won its

tenth game of the year with a 86-72 win over visiting San Diego Mesa.

Karyn Fierst went 4-of-8 from three-point range, and her 27 points led

all scorers in the game. Leah Wilde hit 3-of-6 three pointers and scored

11 points. Shauna Steward had 12 points and seven assists for OCC (10-1).
