Vanguard improves to 3-4

HAYWARD - Vanguard University’s mens basketball team defeated host

Cal State-Hayward, 80-69, in a nonconference game on Saturday.

John Kohlhaas got a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds for the

Lions (3-4). Dennis Keane and Brandon Cablay scored 18 and 17 points,

respectively. Vanguard shot 56 % from the floor to win.
